Order Schedule

Need to schedule client orders?

In a recent release of SunTrack, we have introduced a new and exciting feature that enables users to Schedule orders.

Order Schedule can be defined as a contract with a client that schedules pickup and delivery of shipments in a predetermined format. This feature is useful for generating orders periodically over a specific interval or period of time. This feature is particularly useful in cases where clients need to make daily, weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly scheduled deliveries.

For example, a client that needs to make a regularly scheduled pickup starting in January through the end of September, every Monday and Wednesday at 9:00 AM, with completion of the delivery to a specific or yet to be determined destination.

 

 

Users can also change a scheduled order status to "Run" or "Pause" in cases where they wish to periodically generate orders or freeze order generation for a specific period of time. Users can also view order history and enable or disable order schedules as well.

 

 

 

In addition to the options listed above, users can take advantage of the following advanced features as well.

     

  1. Contract: For situations where a client specifies a set price and doesn't wish to break the total price down into increments. This feature helps administrators only show the total contract price.
  2. Fix: All orders will have a predefined fixed price. This feature prints and generates a fixed price for all of the orders.
  3. Adjust: Every order is calculated individually. In cases where the estimated price is less than the base price, then the base price will be displayed. This feature allows the option to define and present clients with discounts.
