Order Cancellation Workflow

SunTrack can allow your client to submit an order cancellation request even though the order is in active status.

Q1) What is a Delivery Management System or DMS in short?

We used Web 2.0's progressive enhancement approach, which basic and fundamental information and services are available in forms and optional feature can be added based on need. This approach will help keep pages simple but can be enhanced upon need.

 

Q3) How Suntrack Works?

Our goal is to provide the best service to delivery companies through the Suntrack application. So, we are a service oriented company. Bractus' business model is to serve Suntrack as an ASP (application service provider) mode.

The whole application has developed with latest Java Enterpise Edition and it can support large scale (hundreds of thousends order per day). The application's architect is using Open Software methology:

  • Application can deploy it in Microsost Windows, Unix, Linux, MacOS, (any where JVM is available), the 
  • Application Database is using SQL92 standard and can be Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL and Postgress.
  • We support most of grade A browsers including FireFox, IE7 and IE6, Oprea, iPhone, Google Anroid.
  • We support WS* Soap based Web Services Standards.

Q5)  How do I configure cell phones to show driver location on map?


In order to track the location of your drivers you need to take the following  steps:
  1. Install Google latitude  (http://www.google.com/latitude/) into your cell phone.
    From you cell phone go to this url.
    If you don't have Google id, you need to create one. Then join to google latitude.
  2. Share your location and allow your friends to see your location.
  3. Go to http://www.google.com/latitude/apps/badge
    Make sure the "Enable and show best available location" is selected.
    Copy user id.
  4. Go to SunTrack Application
  5. Go to dispatch screen and select 'Map' checkbox

Q6) SunTrack is a web based program what happens if we were to lose our internet connection?

If you do lose your primary Internet connection, you will not be able to access SunTrack as long as your connection is down.  However, you can mitigate this downtime if you have an backup plan such as accessing SunTrack from another location(2nd office, home, wifi spot, etc.).

On our side, our hosting provider has highly reliable and redundant connections of Internet service at their data center in Los Angeles where SunTrack is hosted to prevent any disruption in your ability to access your data.  For your review, we have provided links to their global network locations:

Another option as a backup plan is to create a standby server of SunTrack in your office or another ISP data center in another metropolitan area.  If you would like to discuss this option in more detail, please let me know.
