SunTrack 3.0.0 Release Announcement: COD, Multi-package and Delivery Notification

Delivery Notification Email, Cash On Delivery Collection, and New Report Server

As part of a major software upgrade from version 2.0.7, there are several new features and enhancements.
As a result, feature changes in V 2.0.7 have been included with updates for 3.0.0.

Here is an overview of enhancements with SunTrack v3.0.0:

Service Types

Service Estimate Report provides estimated fees per city or zip code

If you need to provide service rates to potential clients, this report will generate estimated prices.

Create and Manage Custom profiles.

This enhancement helps define a new rating for individual clients or a group of clients. For more detail, select Custom Profile

Single Package - Multi Package Rate.

SunTrack's package pricing has been enhanced to offer two models:

Single Package Rate: Price of a single package; either by weight or fixed dollar amount.
Multi-Package Rate: Price based on weight range. For example, 0-100 lbs, 100-200 lbs., etc.

SunTrack can calculate a total price by selecting one these two pricing models.

C.O.D collection.

With v3.0 of SunTrack, a new feature has been added for Cash on Delivery:

Add Package: You can define C.O.D amount in a specific package level.
Waybill Report: Reflects total C.O.D amount.
C.O.D fees: You can charge clients either by a fixed amount (e.g. $20) or a percentage based fee.
Driver's my order list: If an order requires C.O.D, the amount will show up in driver's my order list. An order assignment email will also contain the C.O.D. amount.
Daily Job Report: C.O.D amount will be shown in the Daily Job Report

Report Service.

SunTrack's new report service runs on top of one the best report server platforms. The new reporting capabilities will be able to create several ad-hoc reports. SunTrack's standard reporting options include reports for the following areas:

Drivers Performance Report
Sub-report: Driver Performance Report
Daily Job Report
Sub-report: Client Job Daily Report (a.k.a driver's daily manifest)

Driver Checkin/Checkout.

Drivers can now record check in and check out time intervals. After a driver checks in, the driver's name will be listed in Bold print on top of the dispatch screen. The next release of SunTrack will add the ability to view individual driver check in/check out times.

Notify On Delivery.

Clients will be notified by email upon delivery of an order.

Service Type Enhancements.

In SunTrack v3.0, service types can be be assigned to specific profiles!

For example, individual client profiles can add service charges such as Economy, Rush, Weekend/Holiday, and have completely different rates than standard default charges allowing customized delivery charges.

Other Changes.

Pre-populate client addresses: SunTrack will populate a clients address for Pickup location.
Ability to hide pickup/delivery time and only show applicable dates
The Driver's "My Orders" Page shows POD and COD amounts
